Part-Time Evening Custodian​/Summer Helper

Position Summary

Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the position of Part-Time Evening Custodian/Summer Helper as noted below:

The Part-Time Evening Custodian/Summer Helper is responsible for keeping the school building, grounds areas, and equipment in a state of operational readiness as assigned. From July 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026, this is a full-time Summer Helper position with work hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, weeding, and striping soccer and baseball fields.

The part‑time evening custodian portion of this position begins August 1, 2026, and the employee will work 3.5 hours per evening, Monday through Friday (work hours are flexible and will be determined upon the applicant's availability), with assigned light custodial duties and no outdoor grounds work.

Beginning May 10, 2027, this position transitions to a full‑time summer helper role during the daytime, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance position preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
