Summary Verify, pack, and manifest orders for shipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures safety within the department is always maintained.

Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports, analysis, records and databases for assigned areas.

Ensure that the department obtains, maintains, and/or exceeds company productivity and quality policy.

Interact with other employees in a polite, courteous and productive manner.

Responsible for adhering to and enforcing established “Work Rules.”Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean and orderly work area.

Box items

Verify count and correctness of items and lots Process UPS/Fed Ex shipping

Assist UPS/Fed Ex in loading and checking out Loading pallets to Fed Ex truck

Will use pallet jack (inhouse training available)
Process order under the average time of 4 minutes

Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required.

Computer experience.

Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with hand and power pallet jack.

Language Ability Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, associate personnel, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability Basic math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to properly apply packaging to delivery, ensure tax is entered correctly, and verify shipping address and class of shipping service.
