We are excited to share a new opportunity! We are looking for an Electronic Assembly Supervisor/Foreman in Rosenberg, TX. The ideal candidate has proven experience leading manufacturing or assembly teams preferably with electronics and electronic components. While this is primarily a leadership position, the right candidate will be able to roll up their sleeves and lead by example. This is a great opportunity to work for a local company undergoing significant growth.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage a team of electronic technicians, assemblers, and repair specialists. This includes scheduling, performance evaluations, and providing mentorship.
- Oversee daily workshop operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within quality standards.
- Assist in the assembly and repair of complex electronic circuits and components as needed.
- Maintain and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory of electronic parts, tools, and equipment. You'll be responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on new equipment, repair techniques, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to address technical issues and improve product design and repair processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within an electronic manufacturing or repair environment.
- Strong technical expertise in electronic assembly, soldering, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills. You must be able to effectively manage a team and communicate with different departments.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in an electronic workshop.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree or above in electronics or a related field is highly preferred.
