Job Summary
Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. The role focuses on resident service requests, preventive maintenance, and the make‑ready process for vacant apartments.
ResponsibilitiesIncumbents must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas. Work is required in all weather conditions. Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights of up to twenty‑five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance. Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training classes, or business meetings.
Work schedule includes evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applications for Certified Service Technicians).
- All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (applications for all Service Technicians).
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.
Hourly rate: $24.00 – $28.00. Additional compensation may include a quarterly or annual bonus program for corporate positions or weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonus programs for onsite positions, based on individual and company performance.
