The Environmental Services Technician (EST) is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the Goodwill of North Georgia store. The position is available as part‑time, with a schedule of three full ten‑hour days per week. (A full‑time EST also exists with a four‑day schedule.)

Key duties include:

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
• Operating buffers and floor scrubbers.
• Managing trash and waste removal.
• Cleaning and maintaining restrooms.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO regulations, company, and state policies.

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs., with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, reach, and grasp throughout the work day.
• Physical ability to process donated items, including loading and unloading, in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust).

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodian experience.
