Under direct supervision, performs semi-skilled and unskilled work in support of maintenance and construction projects for various county departments.

• Performs mowing, weed trimming, litter removal, and general groundskeeping at airport facilities.
• Assists with snow response preparation and cleanup around airport grounds.
• Assists with basic terminal, hangar, and facility upkeep (minor cleaning, organization, light maintenance tasks).
• Performs minor cleanup and organizational projects in airport work areas.
• Performs basic cleaning and care of tools, mowers, vehicles, and light equipment used at airport grounds.
• Reports maintenance or repair concerns to supervisor.
• Provides basic customer assistance to pilots/visitors as applicable (non aviation technical).
• Conducts simple readiness checks (facility condition, trash policing, grounds inspections) comparable to other County facilities.

• Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment physical exam prior to commencing work.
• If working in Environmental Services, must possess or have ability to obtain within six months of employment and must maintain 24 hour HAZWOPER certification.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a computer in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Experience interacting with customers.
