Part i: summary of position
This assignment performs the full range of basic tasks in the cleaning and maintenance of district buildings. Substitute custodians will be placed on an on-call list. When substitute custodians are called, they will be told which building to report to, who to report to, and what time to report.
Part ii: minimum knowledge, skills and abilities
A.
Education and experience:
* high school diploma or equivalent
* experience as a school custodian or equivalent custodial service preferred
B. Credentials:
* certificate of good health by a licensed physician
* physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
C.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
* willingness to cooperate in a positive and friendly manner with staff, students, and members of the public
* proven ability to communicate with members of the leadership team
