Job Summary

SSC Services for Education (Compass Group) is hiring a full‑time JANITOR for the TAMU HSC Round Rock location. The position involves heavy cleaning duties and maintaining a safe, orderly environment for students and staff.

• Location:
  
  3950 North A.W. Grimes Boulevard, Round Rock, TX 78665 (openings at other district sites available).
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (full‑time; part‑time options with flexibility).
• Pay: $14.25 per hour to $15.00 per hour.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning; restore furniture to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment; sanitizes all surfaces; follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refine floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior janitorial experience is required.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
