Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Job Summary

Perform light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, and responding to guest requests.

Full‑time and part‑time schedules:
Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM or 12:00 PM‑8:30 PM. Rotating weekends required. Details discussed during interview.

Fixed pay rate: $16.00 per hour.

Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required. Certain positions may require a Florida Level 2 background screening.

• Provides quality customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts, polishes furniture, and cleans metal fixtures.
• Empties and cleans trash containers; disposes of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers; wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
• Arranges furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping problems such as spills or broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, colleagues, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
