Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, and other facility systems to keep them up to applicable standards.
- Perform predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance as well as equipment rounds and service requests as directed.
- Perform maintenance in accordance with the JLL Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Assist with the development and improvement of preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards and practices.
- Establish work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, suggesting changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department, shop, or work crew.
- Determine and/or assist with analyzing and resolving work problems and achieving work goals.
- Maintain time and production records and customer service requests utilizing a variety of computer/technology tools.
- Control the daily operation of all mechanical equipment in the physical plant and buildings.
- Participate in the on-call engineer rotation for the portfolio of office buildings.
- Actively participate in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience; commercial industry general building preventative & corrective maintenance
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS)
- Strong Customer Service & Interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Strong Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills are required.
Demonstrates expertise in preventative and corrective maintenance within commercial facilities, utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
