We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and daily operation of one or more assigned medical office buildings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, building relationships with tenants, and taking ownership of the facilities they maintain.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll serve as the primary maintenance professional for your assigned medical office building(s), ensuring they remain safe, clean, compliant, and operating efficiently.

You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, coordinate specialized repairs when needed, and build strong working relationships with tenants, property management, and vendors. Your attention to detail and proactive approach help prevent disruptions while creating an exceptional experience for everyone who enters the building.

You may also participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support emergency maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing preventive maintenance and routine building inspections
  • Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and building systems
  • Responding to tenant maintenance requests and comfort calls
  • Maintaining generators, fire protection systems, and other critical infrastructure
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, life safety standards, and building codes
  • Coordinating outside contractors for specialized repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Maintaining maintenance records, inspection documentation, and work orders
  • Ordering maintenance materials and managing inventory
  • Keeping mechanical rooms, storage areas, grounds, and common areas clean and organized
  • Helping create a safe, professional environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare providers
