Position: Maintenance Caretaker – BG01 (Part‑time, 20‑25 hours per week)
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Job Summary: Position holder will work in a live production research facility to maintain various parts of the production and research process as a farm worker laborer.
Responsibilities- Maintain various parts of the production and research process in a live production research facility.
- Perform general farm labor tasks, including heavy lifting, shoveling, bending, stooping, twisting, and walking in wet/dusty environments and under external weather conditions.
- Follow the company’s Poultry Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Policies at all times.
- High School diploma or GED required; local college student enrolled in an Agricultural / Poultry related background preferred.
- Six (6) consecutive months of work history with one employer (as listed in application).
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team; strong problem‑solving, time‑management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, etc.) and not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl.
- Must not have worked for Tyson more than three (3) times; minimum 180‑day rehire waiting period.
- Willingness and ability to perform physical requirements with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Location: On‑site at the Russellville Research Farm.
Schedule: Variable, requiring flexible hours.
