HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MAINTENANCE LEAD IN RUTHER GLEN, VA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Lead to join our team in Ruther Glen, Virginia. This individual will be responsible for leading the daily maintenance operations of a busy distribution center, coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing facility and equipment upkeep, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse maintenance experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate maintenance personnel, vendors, and facility repairs while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
Pay, Schedule, and Location- Starting at $25.24/hour
- Full-time schedule

- Located in Ruther Glen, VA
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team
- Support warehouse operations by planning and implementing maintenance schedules
- Assign daily work, coordinate employee schedules, and assist with performance evaluations
- Train associates on maintenance procedures, safety practices, and departmental policies
- Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure building systems remain in excellent working condition
- Monitor and coordinate repairs for warehouse equipment and facility systems
- Create, track, and manage maintenance work orders using maintenance management software
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs with internal teams and outside vendors
- Maintain records of repairs, inspections, maintenance activities, and vendor services
- Generate purchase requests for replacement parts, repairs, and equipment
- Oversee sanitation and facility maintenance standards throughout the warehouse
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, federal, and company safety regulations
- Prepare maintenance reports and communicate operational updates to management
- Assist with emergency facility needs during and after business hours as required
- Previous maintenance leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment required
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and equipment repair coordination
- Experience managing vendors and maintenance contractors preferred
- Strong computer skills and experience with warehouse management or maintenance tracking systems preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
- Some college coursework preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered
