Responsibilities:

• Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop maintenance personnel across multiple shifts.
• Conduct interviews and assist with hiring and onboarding new employees.
• Establish and support shop goals related to maintenance, safety, productivity, and equipment reliability.
• Manage parts, tires, tools, supplies, and maintenance expenses.
• Support technicians with diagnostic tools, software, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure maintenance personnel follow established safety, inspection, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Coordinate with terminal management to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Review and approve internal and external maintenance orders and related expenses.
• Investigate equipment damage and assess causes, repairs, and financial impact.

Job Requirements and

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of fleet equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial truck and trailer maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and engine diagnostic software preferred.
• Factory training or certification in engine diagnostic software is advantageous.
• Familiarity with TMW transportation software is a plus.
• CDL license is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.
