Maintenance Tech - EPIC Team

Join our EPIC team at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre! The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations, to ensure a successful maintenance program at all times.

• 8‑hour shifts
• Full time – 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Days will vary

• Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed for the assigned area.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain the facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.
• Monitor and maintain maintenance supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc. – cutting, trimming, polishing, sweeping as directed.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repair on facility equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors and all facility personnel.
• Basic computer skills; experience with electronic work orders is a plus.

This is a full‑time position.
