Field/Service Technician, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, aligning with safety policies, wearing proper PPE.
Attends and completes required technician training classes.
Maintains necessary set of tools for diagnosis, disassembly, assembly per spec.
Diagnoses and performs repairs on equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting.
Works neatly, continuously improving methods, areas, safety.
Inspects components to reuse parts and control costs; documents repairs in software.
Monitors expenses vs estimates, informs supervisor before overruns.
Maintains a positive supportive conduct; trains/mentors others.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation and Experience
Formal Education High School diploma or GED
Experience 3-4 years
Required / Credentials Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Valid Driver License
Successfully completed all required training to be Service Field Tech II
Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria Proficient in computer use, Microsoft Office and relevant dealer software.
Updating of Knowledge Job requirements frequently change requiring re-training once or more per year.
