Position: Preventive Maintenance (PM) Service Technician - Power Systems

Primary Job Role

Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to include, but not limited to, changing engine fluids, filters, lubricating and cleaning components/parts, and starting equipment to test performance.
  • Maintain, make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and supporting systems in the field.
  • Supply all required information, supporting documentation, and photos to the Preventive Maintenance Dispatcher and Service Estimator for repairs and additional services identified during scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
  • Maintain personal company service literature, maintain a high awareness of technical changes in the industry, maintain tools required for this position and attend training sessions as required.
  • Work in a neat and orderly fashion, adhering to contamination control guidelines and constantly looking for ways of improving the methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
  • Maintain flexibility of schedule to regularly work nights and weekends as required.
  • Complete all required documentation to be provided to the customer and PM Dispatcher.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Formal

    Education:

    High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience:

    1–2 years.
  • Required/Certification:
    Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers;
    Valid Driver's License.
  • Not Required But Highly Desired:
    Proficiency in computer use, Microsoft Office, and relevant dealer software;
    Technical knowledge of products represented by the company.
