Facility Cleaner
So, what is this job? We are looking to hire a meticulous, trustworthy individual to take the lead on keeping our facilities sparkling. You are the person who ensures that when a resident walks into our amenities or offices, their first thought is, "Wow, it looks great in here."
The goal is simple:
Keep our buildings, offices, and amenities in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. If you love the satisfaction of a freshly mopped floor and hate seeing a dust bunny, we want to talk to you.
Let's Have Some "Real Talk" (The Nitty Gritty):
-Yes, it's Cleaning:
We are talking about bathrooms, floors, and trash. It's not glamorous work, but it is the most important work for our resident experience.
-You Need to be Self-Motivated:
You won't have a boss hovering over your shoulder while you dust. We need to trust that you are doing the job right, even when no one is watching.
-It's Physical:
You will be moving, bending, reaching for ceiling vents, and carrying cleaning supplies for your whole shift.
The "Superpowers" We Need:
-The "Eagle Eye":
You see the dirt that others miss. A smudge on the window or a cobweb in the corner doesn't stand a chance against you.
-The Chemical Wizard:
You know your products. You understand Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and know which chemicals banish germs and which ones should never be mixed.
-The Trustworthy Soloist:
Integrity is everything. You treat our facilities with respect and handle your duties with total honesty.
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
-The Full Sweep:
Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents in designated facility areas.
-Restroom Rescue:
Deep cleaning toilets, sinks, and mirrors to keep them sanitary and fresh.
-Supply Command:
Stocking and maintaining supply rooms. You ensure we never run out of soap or paper towels.
-See Something, Say Something:
Performing routine inspections and notifying management immediately if you see a deficiency (like a leaky faucet) or a need for repairs.
-Health & Safety:
Following all health and safety regulations strictly.
The Schedule (Please Read!):
This is a full-time position.
-Set schedule with additional availability:
We are looking for someone who can work a consistent schedule M-F but has the ability to adjust a schedule if needed based on the facility needs.
Requirements
- Experience:
At least 2 years working experience as a cleaner (we need someone who knows the ropes). Preferred experience working at recreation facilities or amenity centers.
-Knowledge:
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
-Integrity:
High level of reliability and honesty.
-Reliable Transportation:
You must have a reliable way to get to work on time, every time.
