Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
Responsibilities
Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wear proper personal protective equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning of fuel in generator fuel tanks and related components, inspection of tanks and components to ensure local regulation compliance, and repairs of tank spill buckets, alarms and monitoring systems.
Maintain and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and supporting systems in the field.
Provide required information, supporting documentation and photos to the Preventive Maintenance Dispatcher and Service Estimator for repairs and additional services.
Maintain personal company service literature, stay updated on technical changes in the industry, provide required tools and attend training sessions as required.
Work in a neat and orderly fashion, adhere to contamination control guidelines, and continuously seek ways to improve methods of work, work area, and safety standards.
Maintain a flexible schedule, working nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Complete all required documentation to provide to the customer and PM Dispatcher.
Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years experience.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with employees and customers.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency with computer, Microsoft Office and relevant dealer software programs.
- Technical knowledge of products represented by the company.
- Regular exposure to stress (20-80% of time).
- Fluctuations in workload: changes in priorities, complexity, quantity.
- Work schedule includes regular business hours with frequent nights, holidays and weekends.
