EO-NO-Public Works​/Parks & Recreation – Youth General Laborer; Summer position

Summary of Position

Perform various tasks such as roadside litter pick‑up, weed control, painting, general maintenance, repairs and general groundskeeping. Will assist Public Works and Parks & Recreation employees with various tasks including maintenance of machinery, facilities, parks and ball fields.

• Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
• Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee status.
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Equipped with safety boots.
• Enjoy working outdoors.

• Knowledge, experience, and ability in general repairs and groundskeeping.

• 35 hours per week, as assigned.
• $17.20 per hour.

• Anticipated start date:
  June 29th, 2026.
• Employment period of eight (8) weeks.

• All summer job opportunities are conditional upon availability of funding.
