Part‑Time Maintenance Technician

Candlewood Suites St. Charles is seeking a reliable and motivated maintenance technician to help maintain our hotel and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our guests and team members.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Assist with painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and other general maintenance projects.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of hotel grounds and common areas.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Previous maintenance experience preferred, preferably in hospitality, apartment, or commercial facilities.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be dependable, professional, and guest‑service oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working in varying temperatures.

$17.50 hourly
