Job Summary

The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily, event, and post‑event housekeeping operations at T‑Mobile Center to ensure the facility consistently meets the organization’s cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards. This position provides direct supervision, coaching, scheduling, training, and performance oversight for part‑time team members and contracted cleaning personnel while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional guest service.

Working closely with Operations leadership, the Environmental Services Supervisor ensures staffing resources are effectively deployed, quality standards are maintained, equipment is properly utilized, and the facility is prepared to support world‑class events.

Essential Duties Team Leadership & Staff Development
  • Supervise, coach, and support approximately 40–75 part‑time employees and contracted housekeeping staff during daily operations, event changeovers, and post‑event cleaning.
  • Provide ongoing training in cleaning procedures, equipment operation, safety practices, and customer service expectations.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide timely coaching, recognition, and corrective feedback to promote accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented work environment that supports employee engagement and operational excellence.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new Environmental Services team members.
Quality Assurance & Facility Standards
  • Conduct regular Clean Telligent inspections throughout assigned areas to verify compliance with T‑Mobile Center cleaning standards and departmental expectations.
  • Complete a minimum of two (2) documented inspections per day (ten per week) and communicate findings with team members.
  • Identify deficiencies, establish corrective action plans, and verify completion of corrective work.
  • Ensure the facility consistently meets cleanliness, presentation, and guest readiness standards before, during, and after events.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as needed to support operational requirements.
Operations & Scheduling
  • Forecast staffing needs and prepare work schedules based on event requirements, building activity, and operational priorities.
  • Assign daily, event, and post‑event work responsibilities to maximize efficiency and ensure appropriate facility coverage.
  • Monitor work progress throughout each shift and adjust staffing assignments as operational needs change.
  • Support event operations by coordinating housekeeping activities with other venue departments.
Equipment, Inventory & Safety
  • Train employees in the safe operation and routine care of housekeeping equipment including:
    • Floor scrubbers
    • Buffers
    • Wet vacuums
    • Carpet extractors
    • Ride‑on scrubbers
    • Rotary machines
  • Promote proper equipment use to reduce unnecessary repairs and extend equipment life.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, facility maintenance concerns, workplace injuries, accidents, and safety hazards promptly.
  • Conduct routine inventories of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure adequate inventory levels of cleaning supplies.
  • Support recycling initiatives and sustainability practices throughout the facility.
  • Partner with Operations leadership and other departments to ensure housekeeping services effectively support all facility activities.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding staffing, operational issues, equipment needs, and event readiness.
  • Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.
  • Build positive working relationships with employees, contractors, and other departments.
Other Duties
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum education level of High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve problems promptly; gather and analyze information skillfully. Must be able to develop solutions quickly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of equipment, cleaning supplies and methods to be used on various surfaces.
