Facility Resource Coordinator

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

This position requires travel to Baton Rouge and Morgan City. The employee will be responsible for delivering supplies and completing other work‑related tasks using a company vehicle.

$18.34 – $24.24 per hour

• Contribute to Vitalant’s life‑saving mission by overseeing the coordination of warehouse supplies, vehicles, and facility requirements.
• Ensure proper maintenance, repair, and environmental conditions of buildings and grounds.
• Support management in achieving collection goals and ensuring cost‑effective operations.
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to monitor work orders, provide proper work direction, and ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out.
• Maintain building utility functions, uphold cleanliness, and create a conducive working environment for employees.
• Manage warehouse inventory levels, including reordering and stocking. Load and unload supplies and products.
• Manage procurement, requisitioning, inspection and quality control of materials and supplies.
• Keep facility vehicles in optimal condition by conducting evaluations, scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs, and ensuring annual inspections within DOT compliance, maintaining accurate records.
