The responsibilities of the Evening Custodial Lead will be added to the existing custodial responsibilities.

Job Summary:

260 day/12 month position. 8 hours per day, 5 days per week

Hours:

2:30 pm - 11:00 am Pay Structure:
Pay grade M120 $ 18.41 - $27.79 per hour Pay rate is determined by years of experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as the contact person for all evening and night activities in the school. Ensure that all equipment related to evening and night activities is properly set up and broken down. Ensure that all exterior doors are securely shut when the building is closed. Arm the building alarm system at the conclusion of the shift. Ensure all evening and night custodial related work is effectively completed and address areas of deficiency.

Regularly communicate with the custodial supervisor regarding the status of work orders, custodial related concerns, and ensure that action is taken to resolve concerns. Provide information to the building supervisor that will contribute to the custodial evaluation process. Oversee floor care and floor related cleaning schedules. Orientate substitute custodians regarding their work responsibilities and provide ongoing technical support and direction for the custodians.

Manage inventory and order building supplies Make recommendations for disciplinary action to district supervisor Other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Qualifications:

Understand proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, Understand cleaning methods and procedures, Perform moderate to heavy manual labor, Must have ability to perform daily tasks with minimum supervision, Communicate effectively OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
