JOB OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this position is to performs park maintenance such as mowing and trimming grass, picking up debris, emptying waste receptacles, removing dead and/or dying trees, repairing trails, and cleaning public buildings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* May operate and maintain a variety of park maintenance equipment such as tractors, trucks, mowers and light utility vehicles.

* Assist with routine maintenance of park structures and fixtures such as pavilions, playground equipment, picnic tables, and restroom facilities.

* Work may include painting and trail repair. Inspects grounds, fixtures and facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.

* Checks playgrounds and recreational areas for appearance and possible safety hazards.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be 18 years of age to apply.

* Requires stable education and work history.

* A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.

This is a part-time, as needed position that may vary in hours and length of service, working approximately 24 hours per week. Working times will be primarily nights, weekends, and holidays.
