Evening Custodian -Lincoln Elementary

Custodian Position

Responsibilities include maintaining regular attendance, cleaning and preserving designated spaces, equipment, classrooms, offices, libraries, restrooms, and common areas. This includes dusting, emptying trash receptacles, vacuuming, washing windows, scrubbing, mopping, disinfecting, and polishing hard-surfaced floors in restrooms, cafeteria, hallways, and classrooms. Performs minor maintenance and repairs, reports vandalism or damage to school property, assumes responsibility for the security of the building, maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment, complies with district policies, receives permission to work 40+ hours in a week, performs minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor repairs, removes snow, moves furniture and equipment, assists in special events presentations, corrects minor safety hazards, maintains confidentiality, and attends/completes district PD and training.

Qualifications include experience and training as necessary to complete the job, minimum of one year successful prior experience in custodial work, ability to lift at least seventy-five (75) pounds, and ability to climb at least a six (6') foot ladder.

Terms of employment are 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day, night differential, beginning ASAP, with a salary of minimum $15.60 per hour with.
30 an hour night differential.
