Overview

Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded throughout the Midwest.

• Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM
• $24.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience

• Operate powered equipment to mow and upkeep lawns
• Gather and remove litter
• Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots
• Spread salt in common areas during the winter
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure buildings, systems, and machines are operating efficiently
• Diagnose heating and cooling problems and determine how to correct them
• Test, calibrate, and repair electric watt-hour meters and other related electrical instruments
• Repair and clean warehouse tracks for efficient flow of freight
• Replace light bulbs
• Relocate office furniture
• Clean and maintain appearance of offices, common areas, and vehicles
• Inventory and order parts as needed
• Perform warehouse and related other duties as assigned

• Mechanical inclination is preferred
• Knowledge and ability to use a voltmeter
• Knowledge of AC and DC motors
• Light electrical work
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Associate's degree in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related field preferred
• Previous cleaning, custodial, or maintenance positions preferred
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
• Must hold or obtain a valid forklift certification

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Some overhead lifting involved
• Full range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.
• Work environment requires time spent outdoors in changing weather elements as well as in a vehicle
• Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
