La Sal, UT, USA – Seasonal Field Facility Supervisor.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Our Facility Supervisors take pride in ensuring our glamping locations are operational, safe, functional, and well‑maintained so that our guests can fully utilize and enjoy our amenities, tents, and common areas. Situated just minutes away from the country’s most popular national parks, our locations range in size from 40‑100 glamping tents, many of which have their own showers, toilets, and wood‑burning stoves.

Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager who leads the department, you are an on‑site maintenance expert, helping to oversee, train, and perform maintenance tasks along with the Facilities Team. This is a full‑time, seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

  • Serve as an on‑site maintenance expert for up to 100 high‑quality outdoor accommodations with plumbing, communal structures, showers, toilets, laundry facilities, restaurants, fire pits, and other equipment.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to tents, plumbing systems, propane gas water heaters, stove pipes, decks, trailers, generators, solar equipment, and more.
  • Set direction and work side by side with the Facilities Team, mentoring, modeling performance standards, setting expectations, and holding others accountable.
  • Deliver results to meet short and long‑term goals based on safety, resources, and direction from the General Manager.
  • Support strategic building of the Facilities team schedule, time‑card approval, and other administrative tasks.
  • Attend regular camp‑wide meetings with the management team, and lead meetings with your team to provide direction, training, and insight when the Facilities Manager is unavailable.
  • Inspire the team to be engaged and committed to excellence.
  • Inspections, timely communication, and follow‑up with appropriate team members and guests.
  • Maintain, inspect, and operate pools according to seasonal schedules, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with water chemistry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year of leading facilities or maintenance teams in customer‑focused, outdoor, hospitality, or parks and recreation environments.
  • Minimum two years of troubleshooting and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of septic, plumbing, wood stoves, propane, gas, electric, and generators preferred.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in pool maintenance or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with management and guests.
Additional Information
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment when applicable.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 45 lbs independently.
  • Physical demands include extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and maneuvering on uneven outdoor surfaces.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions: heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind.
  • Position contingent upon satisfactory background and motor vehicle record checks.
