Director of Maintenance

This is a full-time, on-site role located in St. Joseph, MO, for a Director of Maintenance. The Director of Maintenance will oversee all aspects of facility operations, including preventive maintenance, facility repairs, and compliance with safety standards. This position involves leading and supervising the maintenance team, managing work orders, ensuring resident safety, conducting routine inspections, and maintaining the facility's overall quality through proactive planning and repair work.

• Strong Supervisory Skills to lead, train, and manage a maintenance team effectively
• Expertise in Maintenance & Repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC
• Experience in Carpentry to conduct structural repairs and maintenance work as needed
• Proven skills in Facility Management (FM) and Maintenance Management to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for senior living facilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or technical training is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or similar setting
