Field/Service Technician, Pest Control
Overview
Residential Pest Control Technician with experience in sales and home inspections. This role focuses on conducting detailed inspections, identifying pest issues, and closing sales while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily routes to treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections.
- Perform thorough residential property inspections to find points of entry for insects and rodents, identify infestations, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Communicate findings clearly to customers and share treatment plans, preventative measures, and available additional services.
- Close sales and provide strategic recommendations to customers; maintain strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Exemplify a customer-first approach and support ongoing pest control needs through professional guidance.
- $30-$35/hour (base + service & sales commissions + monthly bonuses)
- Paid training at $18 / hour

- Minimum 6 months sales experience required
- Minimum 6 months of home inspection experience required
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer-focused and self-motivated
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Clean-shaven for safety purposes (may wear a respirator occasionally)
- Comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics
You will treat approximately 12 to 14 homes per day. Routes are created daily and include the same customers for all services to build relationships. You will conduct thorough inspections to identify entry points for pests and develop treatment plans, and you will communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
You may occasionally travel to our warehouse in Kansas City, MO for meetings, training, restocking, and related activities.
