Janitorial Maintenance Technician

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

$18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Van-Am Tool & Engineering is seeking a dependable, hardworking Janitorial Maintenance Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This full‑time position works Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, production areas, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash and recycling
• Replenish restroom and break room supplies
• Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces
• Perform minor building maintenance and repairs as needed
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and tools
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical handling and storage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must successfully pass a background check
