Hillyard, Inc. is currently seeking a dependable Custodian to join our team in St. Joseph, MO
.

We're looking for an experienced, dependable custodian who notices the details and takes ownership of their work. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady, part-time evening hours with a Monday–Friday schedule

As a Custodian, you'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our team members by:

• Cleaning offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, stairways, and common areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors.
• Operating floor scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment.
• Emptying trash and waste containers.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms and supply areas.
• Dusting surfaces, vents, and other building areas.
• Monitoring and replenishing soap, paper products, and other supplies.
• Assisting with basic facility upkeep, such as replacing light bulbs.
• Helping maintain exterior areas, including parking lots.
• Following proper procedures for cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.

• 1–2 years of custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience.
• Dependable attendance and a strong history of being on time.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow instructions and safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

• Part-time evening hours: 3:00–8:00 p.m.
