Maintenance Technician

Overview

Maintenance Technician – VIBE Cannabis, St. Louis, MO. VIBE Cannabis is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support facility, equipment, and building operations in compliance with government regulations. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and involves performing routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance to maintain the facility and equipment in top condition, while assisting the team as needed.

• Daily oversight of all mechanical equipment.
• Monitor common areas of the facility to keep them safe and clean from construction debris, garbage, and waste inside the facility, yard, and parking lots.
• Conduct building tours, maintain equipment logs, and report deficiencies for corrective action to the facilities manager.
• Execute preventative maintenance and maintain future scheduling.
• Escort third party contractors as facility liaison.
• Utilize, maintain and repair power tools and mobile equipment.
• Basic plumbing repairs.
• Monitor and service ventilation equipment including inspection, repair, or installation of all AC units and dehumidifiers through the facility.
• Inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are maintained.
• Maintain a professional, safe, and clean environment, and follow all site standards and health and safety rules and regulations.
• Take instructions and assist with tasks delegated by management.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations and service requests.
• Maintain general facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Report damages, defects, and other issues to the Director or Maintenance.
• Assist with the operation and management of sanitation areas when needed.
• All duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of facility maintenance or general repair experience in Building Maintenance.
• Basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building equipment.
• Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in operating a forklift preferred.
• Proficient with computers and software/technology.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred.
• Must have accountability, proactive behavior, strong attention to detail.

• A high level of professionalism and integrity.
• Skilled in safe use of power tools, wrenches, and other shop equipment.
• A constant desire to learn new skills and pursue continuous improvement.

• Good communication skills.

• Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible.
• Must pass stringent background check requirements of Missouri.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.
