Position

Painter/Carpenter – Plant Operations Department, Christian Hospital

Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Military experience encouraged.

Provides the necessary craft for maintenance and renovation of building structures, finishes, furnishings, and all other duties as required.

• Keeps equipment clean and operational. Handles and disposes of hazardous and/or infectious waste properly and practices infection control. Adheres to regulatory guidelines.
• Produces professional, high quality construction and coating applications utilizing standard painter and carpentry skills.
• Performs layout and planning of construction tasks.
• Documents labor hours and material usage for capital projects.
• Plans and performs preventative and corrective maintenance according to approved procedures, department policies, and manufacturer's specifications.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• No supervisor experience required.
