Role Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general building maintenance, preventative maintenance, and facility repairs to ensure a safe, functional, and well‑maintained stadium environment. This role works closely with the Facility Operations Manager and Director of Stadium Services to support efficient day‑to‑day facility operations.
This is a full time position.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position requires availability for match days, events, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role may require extended hours during events or peak operational periods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance, including painting, carpentry, drywall, and furniture repair.
- Complete preventative and routine maintenance on buildings, gates, lockers, doors, and related equipment.
- Repair and/or replace stadium seating, cup holders, and other facility fixtures.
- Safely and effectively operate hand tools and power tools.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the Facility Operations Manager, Director of Stadium Operations, and other departments to support efficient facility operations.
- Track materials and supplies; report shortages to the Facility Operations Manager.
- Utilize the 24/7 Work Order system for task tracking and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Two or more years of experience in general repair and preventative maintenance.
- Trade school coursework and/or trade certifications preferred.
- Working knowledge of standard techniques in painting, carpentry, and building hardware repair.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents preferred.
- Ability to follow OSHA safety standards, building codes, risk management protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Ability to operate various lifts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to use a laptop for light administrative tasks.
