Description
St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation currently has a vacancy for Maintenance Worker I at Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex within Creve Coeur Park. CCP Soccer Complex is home to 13 synthetic turf fields and 1 natural grass super pitch, and it regularly hosts local, regional, and national youth soccer events throughout the year. Work hours are primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional weekend work.
The starting salary range is $15.86 to $18.74 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Competitive benefits and a generous paid time‑off policy are also offered.
- Perform field maintenance and grooming on the 13 synthetic turf soccer fields.
- Mow and trim grounds.
- Clean and maintain restrooms and buildings.
- Remove and dispose of trash.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down fields and goals for rentals and tournaments, including field marking paint placement.
- Assist with the operation of field rentals and tournaments as needed.
- Perform related work as required.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, possess a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver’s license. Prior knowledge or experience in sports field or athletic complex maintenance is desired.
