Kitchen Technician
Pay:
Starting at $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities- Performs scheduled and non-scheduled repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tools, equipment, and associated equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property.
- Submits requests for expenditures associated with repairs, upkeep, and improvement to the Manager of Facilities.
- Directly or indirectly supports all exterior grounds activities, including snow removal, grass cutting, landscaping, the parking garage, and other exterior area needs.
- Supports all sanitation processes and procedures including rodent and pest control.
- Performs painting, structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, wallpaper and treatments, and furnishings of buildings.
- Directly or indirectly supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and water distribution, including fire suppression and sewerage facilities.
- Accountable for OSHA compliance and will be an active participant of Safety compliance.
- Implies and monitors controls designed to assure full compliance with all federal, state, corporate, and property laws, policies, and mandates.
- Must be able to interact effectively and positively across departmental lines.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and six months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).
- Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you reside. In addition to the pre‑employment background check, this position will be subject to periodic checks of your driving record to determine your continued suitability to drive company and/or patron vehicles.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
