Housekeeper/General Cleaner – Evening Shift

Shift details: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
, Monday–Saturday, Ofallon, Mo.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided products, tools and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, polish, clean windows, empty trash (including heavy trash), and move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Open and lock facilities and enable/disable security system as required.
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning instructions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper, or similar (preferred but not required).
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to follow training.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, push, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and lift or carry up to 25 lb.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Background check and drug screen clearance.
• Reliable transportation and automobile insurance.

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward; ability to lift and/or carry 25 lb.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products and uses.

Compensation – $11 per hour.
