Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Environmental Service Technicians/Janitors to support operations at the St. Louis VA Medical Center located at 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis, MO 63125. • Outpatient Rooms:
  High dust, wipe walls and all furniture in rooms. Clean any debris or paint that may have been left by building contractors. Floors will be mopped with germicidal solution prescribed by the COR. Carpeted floors will be vacuumed. All horizontal surfaces will be kept free of dust and debris.
• Maintain Floors (non‑carpeted):
  Sweep, dust mop, damp mop, wet mop, dry buff, and spray buff to ensure a uniform, glossy appearance free from dirt, debris, dust, scuff and heel marks, other stains, discoloration, and foreign matter. Baseboards, corners, and wall/floor edges shall also be clean.
• Break room:
  Dust mop, wet mop, and refinish VCT flooring. Counters, sinks, and shelving will be clean with no particles on or underneath appliances and wiped with VA approved germicidal. All tables, chairs, and other furnishings will be wiped down with VA approved germicidal and left free of any particle smears or stains.
• Common Areas:
  Waiting areas to include chairs, tables, windowsills, stairwells, and corridors will be swept, mopped, and wiped down with VA approved germicidal frequently throughout the day. Entrance mats shall be clean as required.
• Remove Trash:
  All trash should be removed from the areas being cleaned at the end of each day. Boxes, cans, and papers placed near a trash receptacle and marked “TRASH” shall be removed and deposited in the nearest outside trash collection container.
• Clean and Disinfect:
  Completely clean, disinfect with an EPA approved hospital‑grade germicidal detergent, and polish dry all surfaces of sinks, water fountains, and plumbing fixtures. After cleaning, receptacles will be free of deposits, dirt, streaks, and odors.
• Clean Interior Glass/Mirrors:
  Clean all interior glass, including glass in doors, partitions, walls, display cases, directory boards, fire extinguisher cases, check‑in windows, and other glass surfaces. No traces of film, dirt, streaks, smudges, or water should remain.
• Vacuum Carpets:
  Vacuum carpeted areas daily. Spot cleaning of any stains or tears shall be performed using carpet manufacturer‑approved methods.
• Clean Carpets:
  Clean carpets following standard commercial practices, using a heavy‑duty spot remover if needed. After shampooing, carpets should appear uniform, free of stains and discoloration.
• Vacuum and Clean Floor Mats:
  Vacuum and clean both interior and exterior floor mats. Mats should be free of lint, litter, soil, and other foreign matter, and returned to their normal location.
• General Spot Cleaning:
  Perform spot cleaning on washable surfaces of walls, partitions, vents, grillwork, doors, door guards, door handles, push bars, and light switches, maintaining a clean, uniform appearance.
• General Dusting:
  Dust or clean all horizontal surfaces to eliminate dust collection and wipe with VA approved germicidal.
• Change out Cubical Curtains when needed or soiled.
• Descale Toilet Bowls:
  Descaling performed at least weekly, ensuring surfaces are free of streaks, stains, scale, and rust.
• Sweep and Mop Floor:
  Sweep and mop to achieve a uniform, streak‑free, and spotless surface. Moveable items should be tilted or moved to clean underneath and returned afterward.
• Stock Restroom Supplies:
  Ensure restrooms are stocked with soaps, paper towels, and toilet paper throughout the day.
