This role supports the reliable operation of building systems by performing scheduled upkeep on HVAC equipment, mechanical components, and campus infrastructure. Focuses on routine servicing, system checks, and equipment documentation to prevent failures and extend asset life. Works independently and as part of a team, maintains clean and organized equipment areas, identifies emerging maintenance needs, and contributes to a safe and well‐functioning facility environment through consistent attention to detail and adherence to preventative maintenance standards.#

Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Services air handling units (cleaning, greasing, oiling, filters, belts).
* Services exhaust fans (greasing, oiling, belts).
* Services pumps (cleaning, greasing, oiling).
* Services compressors and air dryers.
* Changes climate room chart recorder charts.
* Maintains and cleans equipment rooms.
* Rooftop drain inspections.
* Performs exterior campus lighting check.
* Documents building equipment.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Exposed to wet and cold conditions, as well as noise and vibration from operating equipment.
* Must be able to work in morgues, gross anatomy, and pathology laboratories.
