Flex Cleaner – Events

Flex Event Cleaners are responsible for the setup, cleanliness, and breakdown support of event spaces before, during, and after events. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to adapt quickly as event needs change.

Flex Event Cleaner Floating Schedule — 3 positions available

Shift generally begins between 12pm-2pm and ends between 9pm-12am, depending on event schedules. Hours vary week to week based on event volume — some weeks may include overtime, others as few as 20 hours, and others a standard 40-hour week. Schedule flexibility is essential for this role.

Essential Functions:

Moving and setting up tables, chairs, and event equipment; sweeping, mopping, and damp mopping; wiping down and sanitizing tables and surfaces; cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; removing trash and recycling; responding to fast-changing event needs and reassignments; floor care (stripping/waxing/extracting) as needed; and any other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move equipment for the majority of the shift

Minimum Qualifications

• High school degree preferred but not required
• Previous cleaning experience a plus but willing to train interested candidates
• Flooring experience a plus (we do floor care from time to time)

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull
• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, including tables, chairs, and equipment
• Extensive walking, standing, and moving equipment for the duration of the shift
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within production and service time frames established by the company
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, both indoor and outdoor, hot to cold
• Comfortable with a floating schedule and hours that vary week to week based on event needs
