Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Friendship Village, a faith-based, not-for-profit senior living organization, is seeking Housekeepers for our skilled nursing community. In this role, you'll ensure resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, waste removal, linen handling, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. You'll support infection control standards while interacting respectfully with residents and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to skilled nursing standards
• Follow infection control procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Handle linens, including collection, transport, and restocking of clean supplies
• Remove trash and biohazard waste safely and in compliance with facility protocols
• Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns promptly to supervisors
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supply levels
• Support a quiet, respectful, and dignified environment for residents and families
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to prioritize resident needs and room readiness
• Adhere to safety, OSHA, and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate Friendship Village's mission and values in daily interactions with residents and staff
