Maintenance Technician; CNC Machine Shop

Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting and ensuring equipment reliability. This role supports daily operations in a CNC machine shop by performing preventative maintenance, responding to equipment issues, and completing facility-related maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, works with a strong sense of urgency, and can operate effectively with minimal supervision.

  Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Pay: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience)

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment
• Basic troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Basic facilities maintenance
• Inspect, test, and diagnose damaged machine components
• Install, replace, and adjust machine parts according to manufacturer specifications
• Safely rig, disassemble, and reassemble equipment using hoists and rigging tools
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work to maximize equipment uptime
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
• Maintain maintenance supplies and bin stock
• Coordinate outside maintenance services
• Preventative maintenance of air compressors and related systems

• Perform basic facility maintenance, including cleaning and draining fluid pans
• Changing light fixtures and bulbs/tubes
• General upkeep of equipment and work areas
• Assist with routine repairs to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, efficient, and organized work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent training
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs and documentation
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical drawings
• Basic math skills required for troubleshooting and repair work
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors/contractors
• Familiarity and comfort using computers and office software
