Custodial Worker

Position: Custodial Worker I

Custodial Workers provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care.

This position is responsible for:

* Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.

* Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request.

* Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Work schedule:

FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly), Day Shift

Required Qualifications:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred

* Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.

* Physical requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.
