Wages

$28.00 per hour

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), plus 11 paid holidays per year.

This is a regular, part-time position that will work 30 hours per week.

Job Summary

Hallie Q. Brown is hiring an Operations Coordinator to support the organization’s operations in the areas of custodial, maintenance, and events.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the effective operation of the facility by ensuring that all areas are safe, well maintained, and pleasant to use.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Schedule and manage facilities contractors.
  • Manage vendor relationships (phones, IT, snow removal, etc.).
  • Participate in equipment upkeep and space improvements.
  • Coordinate safety inspections and other periodic maintenance from external vendors.
  • Execute special projects related to operations, space use, and facilities systems as needed.
  • Maintain and order supplies needed for maintenance/cleaning of the facility.
  • Perform light, building‑related maintenance (e.g. change light bulbs, minor repairs to walls, paint rooms, etc.).
  • Maintain the grounds surrounding agency buildings, including maintaining playground areas, clearing sidewalks and stairs as needed, and mowing/trimming lawns and hedges.
  • Assist the marketing team with the setup of event spaces according to the specifications of the reserving party, including tables, chairs, and other necessary equipment.
  • Assist the marketing team with breaking down events with care and efficiency, ensuring all property and equipment is protected from damage.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to resolve any maintenance issues that arise.
What You Bring
