Position: BUILDING ATTENDANT-2ND SHIFT (PT)
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented building attendant to join our team ers City Hall. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional space for the citizens of St. Peters and City staff. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting team that values initiative, creativity, customer service, and operational excellence.

Normal shift: 4:30PM-10PM (varies) This is a second shift position with a rotating schedule including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide superior customer service to the staff and general public.

* Provide general cleaning and custodial tasks (emptying trash, cleaning ,sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, use of floor equipment, etc.)

* Maintain facilities in an orderly, clean, safe, and secure manner.

* Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of City facilities both prior and post event and ensure that the facility is ready for the next scheduled use.

* Maintain facilities equipment and ensure that equipment functions properly and notify management of maintenance issues.

* Assist with basic repairs using standard hand tools.

* Clear and salt walkways during snow and ice conditions.

* Assist in other City facilities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker

* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

* Motor Vehicle Operator's License valid in the state of Missouri

* Fundamental knowledge of janitorial equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
