Work Hours: Monday‑Friday 6 am–2 pm

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary: As a summer employee in the Building and Grounds Department, you will support maintenance and custodial staff, gaining practical experience in facility upkeep and ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for students and staff.

• Assist in general maintenance and repair tasks within school buildings and on school grounds, including painting, minor plumbing, and carpentry work.
• Aid custodial team in maintaining cleanliness throughout the school, including cleaning, organizing, moving furniture, and assisting with waste disposal.
• Contribute to grounds maintenance by participating in landscaping, mowing, weeding, and general outdoor upkeep.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Learn from experienced professionals, ask questions, and actively participate in building and grounds maintenance.

• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and contribute to the team.
• Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible.
• Self‑motivated and able to take directions.
• Good communication skills.
