Job Summary

Responsible for performing general maintenance and cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.
• Keep all areas of the club clean, including the sales floor, offices, restrooms, outdoor grounds, and parking lot.
• Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Remove trash or debris from the parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of the club.
• Ensure that carts are well‑stocked and in working order; remove unsuitable carts.
• Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning duties: wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles, pulling pallets.
• Maintain outdoor grounds, cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles.
• Prioritize maintenance and cleaning responsibilities efficiently.
• Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines safely.
• Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies; keep supply areas clean and organized.
• Perform minor and routine building repairs; notify management of major repairs.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Full attendance is essential.

• Must complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Prior retail or wholesale experience preferred.
• Eligible under 18 to perform parking lot cart functions; over 18 to operate equipment and enter age‑restricted areas.
• Able to lift objects up to 30 pounds; heavy objects up to 30 pounds may require assistance.
• Frequent use of pallet jack to pull and push pallets.

• Work mainly on hard surfaces; requires bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and ladder or step‑stool use.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds regularly, with heavier loads handled with assistance.
• Frequent exposure to cleaning agents, paint, and authorized chemicals.
• Exposure to indoor, outdoor, and extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers.
• Work outdoors and indoors with regular exposure to weather conditions.

Starting from $16.50 per hour; actual salaries vary by location, education, experience, and qualifications.
