Maintenance Utility

Seasonal role with an immediate start date (following completion of onboarding) and an anticipated end date of 10/31/2026.

The Maintenance Utility associate is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings and grounds on the property, including landscaping maintenance, handling of recyclables, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining appropriate stocking of supplies for restrooms.

• Perform preventative maintenance on various equipment in a safe and timely manner when directed by management
• Ensure that grounds are always neat and well maintained by utilizing mowers, trimmers, and other appliances as directed
• Ensure recycling efforts are consistent, on time, and handled according to the company’s environmental processes
• Ensure that all public areas, especially restrooms, are properly sanitized and cleaned while maintaining adequate stock of required supplies
• Regularly inspect the business grounds and building to identify maintenance needs and report them to the manager
• Actively participate in creating a positive work environment and promote teamwork
• Maintain customer service standards by responding to all requests and complaints to minimize or solve problems in a timely and safe manner
• Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper personal protective equipment
• Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
• All other duties as may be assigned

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Must be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasks with little or no supervision
• Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast‑paced environment; position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Must be 18 years of age

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school seniors and juniors).

Experience:

Two (2) years facility maintenance experience.

Knowledge of safe work practices (OSHA).
