Do you have hands-on experience maintaining buildings and grounds while guiding others to get the job done right? The Oregon Lottery is hiring one (1) Senior Facility Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team onsite in Salem, OR. You will work at Lottery headquarters with a Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule.
About This RoleYou will report to the Supervisor, Facilities and perform skilled technical work involving the installation, maintenance, repair, testing and operation of equipment, systems, and facilities. You will also assist contractors with the installation and maintenance of wiring systems, electrical fixtures and equipment, mechanical and plumbing systems, and janitorial and landscaping activities. You will serve as a dedicated training resource to other employees, provide direction on work procedures and standards, and serve as an escalation point for more complex issues within the work team.

- Plan, design, schedule, and implement building restructure and redesign projects under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Facilities.
- Keep building equipment and systems operating efficiently and effectively with minimal downtime.
- Maintain the Lottery’s buildings and custodial equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, building hardware, and tools used to perform maintenance functions.
- Ensure proper maintenance of Lottery buildings and grounds through plumbing, janitorial, and groundskeeping activities.
- Monitor and adjust building systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to crises using established crisis management procedures. Investigate issues, provide operational status updates on building equipment and systems, and recommend and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Conduct systems furniture moves, adjustments, and repairs for employees. Ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience in building maintenance and working with electrical systems.
- Limited Maintenance Electrician license or greater required.
